西班牙世界移动通信大会MWC2020取消 官网正式宣布

MWC2020大会取消，主办单位GSMA已正式在官网宣布，这也是MWC自2006年在巴塞罗纳举办第一届世界移动通讯大会以来，首次宣布取消举办。

GSMA宣布取消而非延期，表示MWC再次举办，就要等到2021年2月22-25日举行。2021年巴塞罗那世界移动大会在Fira Gran Via举行，这是一个尖端的展览和会议设施，位于交通便利的L'Hospitalet de Llobregat地区，距离巴塞罗那机场10公里。 包括4YFN在内的部分赛事将在FiraMontjuïc举行。

GSMA首席执行长John Hoffman表示， MWC一直是GSMA为全球产业、政府、政策制定者、营运商及广大生态链及各产业领袖提供交流的平台，基于对巴塞隆纳市及主办国西班牙的安全与健康环境负责任的考虑，决定取消MWWC2020大会举办，因为全球对于新冠肺炎疫情担忧，使得 GSMA 不再可能继续举办这次的大会。

今年是全球5G发展元年，许多大厂原本准备在MWC发展公司或品牌重要5G技术、产品及应用，MWC取消后或将改成线上发表。

12 February 2020, Barcelona: Since the first edition of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in 2006, the GSMA has convened the industry, governments, ministers, policymakers, operators and industry leaders across the broader ecosystem.

With due regard to the safe and healthy environment in Barcelona and the host country today, the GSMA has cancelled MWC Barcelona 2020 because the global concern regarding the coronavirus outbreak, travel concern and other circumstances, make it impossible for the GSMA to hold the event.

The Host City Parties respect and understand this decision.

The GSMA and the Host City Parties will continue to be working in unison and supporting each other for MWC Barcelona 2021 and future editions.
