德国国际教育和培训展览会（didacta）德国最大的、最专业的教育与培训产业展览会，该展创始于1951年，每年在科隆、斯图加特、汉诺威等地轮流举行。Didacta有其悠久的历史和世界著名的展览规模，每年的展览面积超过7万平米，展商超过800家。参观者超过8万人次，其中98%是专业观众主要来自德国、中欧、南欧及北欧各国，其影响力之广范围之大，在欧洲屈指可数。Didacta是了解全球教育及教学用品发展的趋势和市场前景，寻找专业的合作伙伴，拓展国际市场的重要场所。

联邦教育部长教授博士Annette Schavan在开幕式上讲话说“在经济困难时期，教育系统的进一步发展，是未来的中心任务”。他还指出了教育渗透学校制度的政治重要性和德国的教育体制在欧洲范围内的参与要加大力度。

Europe's largest education fair has once again fulfilled its reputation as the most important platform in education: from 11. up to 15. In February, nearly 60,000 visitors, around 700 exhibiting companies and representatives from politics and society discussed and informed themselves about the future of education. This year, the main theme of didacta was “Democracy Needs Education – Education Needs Democracy”. Many of the around 1,800 events in the program dealt with this. The other top topics AI & Digitization, full-day care and education sustainable development were also widely discussed at the forums, the numerous special shows and events as well as in the program of the exhibiting companies.
“The didacta 2025 has impressively shown how relevant education is for a vibrant democracy. The great interest in our main theme as well as the intensive discussions on AI, digitization and full-day care underline the central role of this fair in the world of education,” says Stefan Lohnert, Managing Director of Messe Stuttgart.
“The exciting debate surrounding didacta strengthens us in that we were right with our motto ‘Democracy needs education – education needs democracy’,” says Dinah Korb, Managing Director of Didacta Exhibition and Publishing Company mbH. “The popularity of the forums, workshops and special shows has shown us: people come and stay in a targeted manner to further their education and to inform themselves. The need for interactive formats has increased sharply, and our concepts have worked excellently here.”
Dr. Theodor Niehaus, President of the Didacta Association, stresses: “Education and democracy education must be at the centre of public and political discourse beyond didacta 2025. Because we urgently need good education – for a functioning society, a strong economy and a defensive democracy. All the more important is the exchange of all the actors in the education sector that we promote in the association. "
At the forefront of didacta was the dialogue on the future of education on the 60,000 square metre exhibition area. Shortly before the federal elections, however, the appearance of several political parties exhibiting at the event was also controversial. There were daily peaceful demonstrations. Messe Stuttgart was always in contact with the organizers.
Ministry of Culture sets educational priorities on didacta
As the patron of didacta, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport was also represented at Europe’s largest education fair with a large exhibition stand and the Glass Classroom. The extensive programme there included education topics such as digitisation, full-day and language promotion.
“The didacta is a great laboratory of thought and practice, where important educational topics are illuminated, discussed and promoted from all sides. At the same time, it offers us the opportunity to bring the focus of our educational reform closer to an interested public: from our language promotion concept SprachFit, to our future innovations in secondary schools, vocational orientation, further education to the virulent topic of education in the digital world,” says Theresa Schopper, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport of the state of Baden-Württemberg. “We have been able to take important impulses with us in recent days. In our Glass Classroom, we have managed to break down the topics surrounding digitalization and media education on the basis of practical examples and thus encourage us to engage intensively with the new forms of teaching and learning.”
Exhibited All-Day Care Congress of the Baden-Württemberg City Day
For the seventh time in a row, the Baden-Württemberg City Day was present at didacta with a major event. His full-day care congress with an accompanying exhibition of the 25 partner organizations of the municipalities from sports, culture and other fields on the 14th of September. February 2025 was filled with more than 1,500 participants. The topic was the legal entitlement to full-day care for children of primary school age starting in the school year 2026/27.
The next didacta is from 10. up to 14. March 2026 in Cologne.
