With over 83,000 visitors, the Travel + Camping (25. February to 1. March 2026) and the bike Essen (26. February to 1. March 2026) was successfully completed at the Messe Essen. The DCC also honoured Klaus Büttner, Managing Director of Frankana Freiko GmbH, with the German Camping Award 2026. “Travel + Camping has been an important calendar event for DCC for more than 50 years. Vehicles, Vanlife and Technology in Focus

Parallel to Travel + Camping, Bike Essen presented the latest developments around two-wheelers. E-bikes, trucks and sports models could be tested on track. The range ranged from the electric bike with integrated alarm system to space-saving folding wheels to practical accessories such as an airbag backpack or a helmet with blink function. In addition, trial shows, workshops and the infotainment stage provided a varied program.
The next trip + camping takes place from 24. February to 28. February 2027 at the Messe Essen. The bicycle Essen starts again in parallel from the 25th. February 2027.
