展会报告(Show Reports):
Milan, 13 February 2026 – Three intense days, fuelled by vision, connections and opportunity. The 46th edition of BIT has drawn to a close, marking the debut of a new concept that reimagines travel not from the product outward, but from the people who bring it to life. From those who design and build travel experiences, to those who market and communicate them, and ultimately to the travellers who live them, everyone came together as one community of Travel Makers, sharing the ideas set to shape tomorrow’s trends and commercial strategies.
At the Travel Makers Fest, the cultural core of the event, more than 450 contributions from experts and leading voices in the industry blended insight and forward thinking with case studies and practical proposals, generating over 100 hours of discussion. With more than 1,000 exhibitors – over 39% of them international, representing 54 countries – the new BIT concept successfully combined business with content, relationships and a strategic vision firmly centred on people.
The talks ranged from artificial intelligence to media tourism and new storytelling approaches rooted in culture, music and fashion, as well as celebrity marketing, the evolution of luxury, the impact of major events and the enhancement of alternative routes and lesser-known destinations. By bringing together industry analysis, real-world experience and first-hand accounts from key players, the Travel Makers Fest turned ideas into tangible pathways for business development.
“We are especially proud of how the market has embraced this inaugural edition of BIT’s new concept”, commented Emanuele Guido, Head of Home, Fashion and Leisure Exhibitions, Fiera Milano. “BIT is rapidly evolving into a new benchmark for the tourism industry – a space capable not only of interpreting change but of guiding it. With the Travel Makers Fest, we witnessed the live emergence of a genuine community of professionals and creators, offering a concrete preview of where tourism exhibitions are heading: no longer simply trade showcases, but permanent hubs of expertise, knowledge and strategic relationships for the market of tomorrow”.
With this edition, BIT further strengthens its role as a leading platform for sharing ideas and generating value across the entire tourism supply chain.
The 47th edition will take place at Fiera Milano from 9 to 11 February 2027.
